TNA and Fight Network’s newest episode of Immersed dives into the life and uncertain future of Ash by Elegance—and it all centers around one powerful admission: “I don’t know what happens from here.”
The former Knockouts Champion stepped away from the ring earlier this year after vacating her title in a surprise announcement at Victory Road. In this new feature, Ash opens up about the personal and professional crossroads she’s facing without fully disclosing what led to her exit.
After dominating gymnastics from age two until an ankle injury required reconstructive surgery, Ash shifted gears into bodybuilding, competing internationally before being scouted by WWE. She signed in 2013 and became known as Dana Brooke, first on NXT and then the main roster alongside Charlotte Flair.
Following her WWE release in 2023, she reemerged in February 2024 as Ash by Elegance in TNA. There, she quickly built momentum and formed The Elegance Brand with Heather Reckless, Maggie Lee, and George Iceman. Her big moment came at NXT Heatwave in August when she won the Knockouts Championship—but just a month later, she relinquished the title without warning.
Now, in Immersed, she makes it clear she’s unsure what the next chapter holds, reflecting on her career and the emotional weight of leaving the ring behind.
“I’m going to miss that so, so much. And I will be at the front and center so each and every woman can feel what I felt tonight and the love and the support and the appreciation. And I think I left my legacy in the ring. Like I said, I don’t know what happens from here, but my home is here. My home is in TNA. Feels so weird to take that last step out of those ropes and not have my title. I didn’t know a title meant so much, but that ring means so much more. The message doesn’t change. I said it in the start and I’m going to say it now. Never give up.”
That quote hangs heavy, framing her past achievements against the weight of an unclear future. During a virtual signing, she also told fans she considers herself retired—though no official statement has confirmed that status.
Ash’s words reflect a vulnerability that’s rarely seen in wrestling, especially from a former champion who seemed poised for a long run. Whether this marks the end or just a pause, fans are left wondering if the door is truly closed.
Do you think Ash by Elegance is really done with wrestling? Or is there still another chapter to be written? Drop your thoughts and reactions below.
