Excalibur hasn’t been on AEW Dynamite since old promos surfaced where he used the N-Word. AEW has been radio silent about his status since then.

There has been no public address from AEW, Excalibur, or Kevin Owens who was also featured in one video using the N-Word as well. It appears that Excalibur wasn’t suspended because he is coming back by the end of August.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Excalibur is set to return on the August 26th episode of Dynamite. He was initially listed for the August 12th show, but that was “misinterpreted” to mean the next taping instead.

Excalibur’s return date is scheduled for 8/26 . We had initially listed 8/12 but that was a misinterpretation of what next taping meant. It’s the next taping after the current taping as the current plan. His not being there has never been addressed by the company anywhere nor has his name been mentioned on either television or Dark

We will have to see if AEW or Excalibur makes reference to the reason why Excalibur needed to take time off television. It might be back to business as usual for the masked AEW announcer.
