Cody Rhodes has held the Undisputed WWE Championship since defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Cody’s victory finished his story and solidified his place at the top of WWE. He has a lot of eyes on him right now, including two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens, which cemented the fact that he will roll into 2025 as champion. As Cody Rhodes waits to see what next year will hold, including a move to Netflix for RAW, he has the WWE Universe behind him.

Hulk Hogan is a six-time WWE Champion, and he praised Rhodes for his work as champion. Speaking to Justin Barrasso on Undisputed, Hogan acknowledged Rhodes’ connection to wrestling tradition while recognizing the challenges of today’s industry.

“A lot of what we did back then still works, From time to time, you see him sort of ‘Hulk up’. That’s cool to see. But it’s so hard to compare. This is a completely different time. I slammed Andre The Giant once [at WrestleMania III], and that was it. Would one slam be enough now? I don’t know. So times have changed, but Cody’s doing a great job with the belt–and that’s not easy.”

Despite his success, Cody Rhodes is currently sidelined after a package piledriver from Kevin Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He has built a reputation as a defending champion, but this injury could throw a wrench in his plans.

We will have to see what the future holds for Cody Rhodes. At this point in his career, he’s pretty much guaranteed himself a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame someday as well. Only time will tell how much longer he has with that title, but Rhodes has impressed a lot of people along the way.
