Karl Anderson just broke some tough news for WWE fans—he’s officially out of action and won’t make it to WrestleMania 41. The Good Brother got real about his recovery on the latest episode of the Talk ‘n’ Shop podcast with Luke Gallows, revealing he’s sidelined for at least six or seven more months after undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum.
“I am out indefinitely,” Anderson shared. “I’d say at least six or seven more months with a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum.”
The injury is a fresh one, not an aggravation of something old, and while Anderson is making progress, it’s a long road ahead. Gallows kept things light, joking about how Anderson’s arm isn’t “flapping” anymore, but Anderson clarified he’s able to perform some tasks with it again.
Anderson last wrestled in a dark match before the October 1 episode of WWE NXT, teaming up with Gallows in a losing effort against Hank and Tank. His final televised match also ended in a loss to the same team on the September 24 edition of NXT.
Despite being two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, Anderson and Gallows have struggled to capture gold since returning to WWE in 2022. Still, their resumes outside the company are stacked, with title wins in NJPW, TNA Wrestling, and NWA.
With Anderson on the sidelines, fans are left wondering how this affects his and Gallows’ future plans in WWE. Will the team bounce back stronger than ever, or is this an uphill climb they can’t overcome?
