Alan Angels, known to fans as “The Frontman,” is officially out of action for the remainder of 2024. The wrestler initially announced in November that he had suffered a sprained ACL, but it turns out the injury is more severe than originally thought. Despite some optimism about returning after a few weeks of rest, Angels took to social media to share the disappointing update.

“Unfortunately, last month I sustained a minor knee injury. It’s a little worse than I originally thought and I’ll be missing all my scheduled shows for the rest of the year, including TNA in Atlanta this weekend which I was really looking forward to,” Angels wrote on Twitter. “A real downer to end 2024.”

The injury forced Angels to cancel all his upcoming bookings, including TNA’s final show of the year in Atlanta. However, there’s some good news: surgery won’t be required, and Angels assured fans that he’s aiming to be back at 100% by 2025.

Known for his dynamic in-ring style, Alan Angels has built a loyal following, and his absence leaves a noticeable void in promotions like TNA and Prestige Wrestling.
