Key Names Behind Notable 12/9 WWE RAW Segments Unveiled

The December 9 episode of WWE RAW took place at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. Fans saw the fallout after Survivor Series: WarGames, and there were a lot of people working behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly.

The night featured several pivotal promos crafted by WWE’s writing team. Many segments, like The New Day answering to kicking Big E to the curb, and Seth Rollins and CM Punk’s feud resparking, took over the night.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Ben Saccoccio was responsible for writing the promo for The New Day, while Alexandra Williams wrote the segment for Seth Rollins.

GUNTHER was also part of the show as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The promo for GUNTHER was reportedly co-written by Chad Barbash and Bryan Yand.

WWE’s next premium live event, the 2025 Royal Rumble, is scheduled for February 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. That being said, the next special production will go down on Saturday, as Saturday Night’s Main Event will return to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

We will have to see what the future holds, but you never know who will be responsible for putting it all together behind the scenes. Obviously, WWE is not a company where their talent are allowed to fly without a net when it comes to promos.
