Britt Baker has other interests outside the realm of pro wrestling and that includes the critically acclaimed show “Cobra Kai.” In fact, Baker made an appearance during the sixth season of the show recently and she has now revealed how she landed the role in the first place.

While speaking to USA Magazine, Britt Baker was asked how she ended up getting the role in “Cobra Kai.” Baker noted that she secured the role after meeting one of the show’s writers, Hayden Schlossberg, at the season 4 premiere. He recognized her from social media, and she told him how much she loved the show and wanted to be part of it.

“I met one of the writers, Hayden [Schlossberg], and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m Britt,’” she recalled. “He recognized me from social media. I kind of joked, but not joking, ‘If you ever need anything, I’m a huge fan and would love to be involved.’”

Baker noted that she kept following up with him, and eventually, he offered her a role, saying she had the Cobra Kai “never give up” attitude. While she was excited about her role, Baker admitted that she had not watched the episode yet because she wanted to wait and watch the whole season at once.

“Eventually he called me and said, ‘You really have the Cobra Kai never say die attitude. If you’re interested, we have a role for you in mind and this is what it is.

I have to be honest, I haven’t even watched it yet,” she admitted. “I want to wait for all of it to come out so I can watch it all!”

Britt Baker plays Oksana, a Russian sensei from the Tiger Strike dojo competing in the Sekai Taikai tournament. Her performance has been well-received by both fans and critics. Many are now eager to see if this role will lead to more opportunities for Baker in future TV shows, with “Cobra Kai” possibly being the start of a successful career in Hollywood.
