The ongoing rivalry between Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and the revamped Judgment Day faction, now led by Dominik Mysterio and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, has been full of surprises. WWE seems to be capitalizing on this by reintroducing a previously scrapped and controversial moniker for Judgment Day’s latest merchandise.
It was previously reported that WWE was considering rebranding the new Judgment Day faction with the name “Street Trash,” which led to significant fan backlash and it wasn’t hard to see why.
WWE responded to fan backlash by deciding not to rename the Judgment Day faction entirely. Instead, they opted to keep the name “Judgment Day” while incorporating the “Street Trash” concept as part of the group’s gimmick, using it as a slogan rather than a complete rebranding.
As it turns out, WWE’s official Shop has now released the first-ever ‘Street Trash’ merchandise for The Judgment Day. The new t-shirt features a trash can and dumpster with ‘Street Trash’ written, making it clear WWE wants to capitalize on the name.
The Judgment Day is still feuding with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest for the time being as we head towards the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, but many fans might still question WWE’s decision to go ahead with the ‘Street Trash’ moniker in the end.
