AEW is set to present its next pay-per-view event in collaboration with NJPW and other top promotions, Forbidden Door, this coming Sunday, with Mercedes Mone set to make her first appearance at the annual show.

The current TBS Champion is set to face the NJPW Strong Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, at the event after the match was announced a few weeks ago. Moreover, Mercedes also appeared at a recent CMLL show to confront her upcoming opponent.

During the June 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, the CEO appeared in a backstage segment to address her opponent at Forbidden. Mercedes hyped their upcoming bout while also mentioning Stephanie’s match at the next AEW Collision show.

With that being said, Merceded Mone announced that she would be ringside to watch Stephanie Vaquer’s match, meaning that this would be the first time The CEO would appear on Collision since coming to AEW.
