Jey Uso made his return during WWE Payback after he ‘quit Smackdown’, much to the delight of fans. He then made his way to Monday Night RAW and has since been booked very strongly. He also competed in a first-ever match after Smackdown ended this week.

This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown featured many memorable moments and solid matches, especially thanks to Dragon Lee. It featured two heel turns as well, as Santos Escobar and Asuka turned to the dark side.

After Friday Night Smackdown concluded, Jey Uso squared off against Intercontinental Champion Gunther in a first-ever match. Gunther would hit a low blow on Uso at the end and lose via DQ, but still remained the Intercontinental Champion in what was an interesting matchup.

Jey Uso will be part of this year’s Men’s WarGames match alongside Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn against The Judgment Day at the WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event. We’ll have to wait and see how he will be booked in the coming weeks till then.
