Sheamus Sends Emotional Message To Edge After WWE SmackDown Match

Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all when it comes to being a WWE Superstar, but his stock isn’t as high as it used to be. It appears Sheamus sent an emotional message to Edge after Smackdown this week.

Edge himself stated that his WWE contract will be over after this week’s Smackdown ahead of his match with Sheamus. While that discussion still stayed in people’s minds, they were more focused on what happened in the ring.

Sheamus and Edge had a terrific match in the main event of Smackdown, which received a ton of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike. In the end, Edge won the match.

Following the conclusion of the match, Sheamus took to Twitter and sent an emotional message to Edge, uploading photos of themselves sharing a drink after the match.

“A Canadian & an Irishman had a brawl that would make a banshee bawl.. what then? They had a pint of Guinness and said good night & thank you all. #ThankYouEdge #Edge25

Edge also stated that he wrestled his last match in Toronto after Smackdown this week. We will have to wait and see whether the Rated R Superstar will end up signing another WWE contract in the end.
