Toni Storm made her way to AEW after a disappointing run on the WWE main roster. She certainly had a solid run as the Interim AEW Women’s Champion, but that saw it end at Full Gear last year. That said, she won back the title at Double Or Nothing and ended up dropping it to Hikaru Shida earlier this month. Now it appears Storm claimed that she will denounce her British citizenship at AEW All In.

AEW will be holding the next All In event at Wembley Stadium this year, which will have capacity of 90,000. Obviously, everyone who doubted the event had to eat their words as the event ended up selling tons of tickets. The event has already beaten WrestleMania 3 in ticket sales and then SummerSlam 1992.

In case you didn’t know, Toni Storm spent life in Liverpool with her scouse grandma and it helped her pro wrestling career. While speaking to Daily Star, Toni Storm stated that while she’s “very excited because it’s the biggest show in AEW history”, she’s “just a little disappointed that it’s in England.” Storm also claimed that she will denounce her British citizenship at AEW All In.

“I just wish Wembley Stadium could be at a different place because I lived in England for a really long time. It’s where I got established, so I made a name for myself and I have a British family. I’m just really bummed out that I have to go back – I thought I left my life behind there, but It’s what champion does, however I’m no longer associated, I’m American now.

The only reason I’d be excited about seeing all those fans again is I get to rub it in their faces how successful I am. The only thing motivating is my excitement to really show off just how great I have become and denounce my British citizenship at Wembley Stadium – I can’t think of a better place.”

AEW recently announced that a Fatal 4-way match for the AEW Women’s Championship will take place at AEW All. Toni Storm has already been qualified as she has invoked her rematch clause after dropping the title to Hikaru Shida, who is also a part of the match. We’ll have to wait and see whether Toni Storm will be able to win the match and reclaim her title.
