Rhea Ripley has worked very hard to become one of the top female Superstars in WWE. In fact, she has seen a lot of success in the company, being a multi-time champion. In fact, she also thinks fans are witnessing a new era of women in WWE. In addition to that, it appears Shawn Michaels has a very high opinion of Rhea Ripley.

The Women’s Revolution in WWE began back in 2016 and truly paved the way for a lot of changes in the women’s division. Rhea Ripley is clearly making the most of the opportunity given to her.

The Eradicator has been booked as an absolute force of nature, who fears no one whether it be man or woman. Ripley has taken down male WWE Superstars such as Akira Tozawa, Luke Gallows and more, with effortless ease.

Naturally, Rhea Ripley has been compared to Chyna numerous times over the years. While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling on WrestleBinge, WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels made it clear that he believes Rhea Ripley will surpass anything that Chyna has accomplished.

“Chyna was one of the rare and unique people. I think she changed the face of women’s wrestling in a big way. So I guess I’ll always kind of be biased in respect to Chyna. I think she was unlike any others before her.

Rhea is absolutely one of my favorites. I knew it from the day I walked in to NXT that you could see that she was something special… I’m not surprised one bit by her success on the main roster, and she’s still so very young. She’s going to surpass certainly, respectfully, anything that Chyna accomplished, but I don’t think that will ever take away from what Joanie contributed to the WWE and this sport in general.“

We will have to wait and see whether Rhea Ripley will end up having a legacy better than Chyna, as she is certainly establishing herself as one of the all-time greats in pro wrestling already.

What’re your thoughts on what Shawn Michaels said? Do you believe Rhea Ripley will accomplish more than Chyna ever did? Sound off in the comments!
