Dominik Mysterio has undergone a complete metamorphosis, as he evolved from a generic and dull babyface to one of the most despised heels in WWE right now. His partnership with The Judgment Day continues to be one of the best things in WWE right now.

Following a brief stint in jail as part of his storyline, Dominik Mysterio came back as Prison Dom. Fans and peers alike have finally accepted Dominik Mysterio’s character now for what it is.

Dutch Mantell recently called out Dominik Mysterio for ripping off his ‘Dirty’ name. This is because Mantell was known as ‘Dirty Dutch Mantell’ back during his days as an active in-ring competitor.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s SmackTalk, WWE Hall Of Famer Teddy Long talked about Dutch Mantell complaining about Dominik Mysterio’s name. He mocked Mantell and told him that what WWE is doing is a great way to keep himself relevant.

“Well, I look at it like this, man. Stay relevant. If somebody gets on that TV and says, ‘playa,’ you’re gonna think about Teddy Long. So I don’t care. If you could keep your name out there in the game of the name and stay relevant. It’s just that simple.”

Dominik Mysterio is set to square off against Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship on next week’s episode of NXT. We’ll have to wait and see how the match will turn out and whether Dominik Mysterio will end up winning the match.
