Dominik Mysterio Teases Feud With Carlito

Dominik Mysterio was initially seen as a plain babyface before he turned heel on his father Rey Mysterio Edge last year. His character transformation is undoubtedly one of the best in recent memory. Now it appears Mysterio tested a feud with Carlito.

Carlito returned during Bad Bunny and Damian Priest’s San Juan Street Fight at the Backlash Premium Live Event. The pro wrestling veteran came out to even the odds after The Judgment Day interfered in the match. He even got physical with Dominik Mysterio.

As previously reported, Carlito was rumored to have signed contract with WWE as he pulled out of an upcoming indie show. In fact, it was said that Carlito told even more promoters that he signed with WWE.

While speaking to the Metro, Dominik Mysterio was asked about a potential match with Carlito following Backlash. Dirty Dominik made it clear that it would be an interesting match and he is ready to get revenge.

“For sure, that’s definitely an interesting match. I know he’s had some history with my dad from back in the day, but for his sake I hope he doesn’t. He’s gonna have a problem with the Judgment Day and we’re gonna stomp him out. He put his business in our business, and that just doesn’t happen.

Dominik Mysterio had an amusing interaction with Shinsuke Nakamura on RAW this week and also tried to be the voice of reason for the dissension between Finn Balor and Damian Priest. We’ll have to wait and see what WWE has planned for him in the coming weeks.
