The world of professional wrestling is not just comprised of wrestlers and announcers, as there are many cogs in the wheel that ensure that everything works efficiently. The legendary seamstress Sandra Gray is a beloved name in the business. She recently retired and now it appears Gray finally broke her silence after retirement.

Before this week’s AEW Dynamite went live on the air from Colorado Springs, a farewell ceremony was held for Sandra Gray. According to PWInsider, Gray is no longer going to work on the road with AEW after this week as she has effectively retired.

Sandra Gray took to Twitter and finally broke her silence after retirement, as she thanked Tony Khan and everyone at AEW for the wonderful farewell ceremony before Dynamite this week.

With all my heart, Thank you @Tony Khan and my entire @AEW family for the most beautiful and loving send off ever! I am so honored to have been with this company since day one, I’m overwhelmed with all the love and respect you gave to me, A beautiful ending, Thank you all❤️

Gray has been designing ring gear for professional wrestlers since 1994, beginning with WCW. Shen then moved on to WWE after the company acquired WCW in 2001. Gray has been a part of WWE Total Divas and began in AEW when the company launched in 2019. While she may not be on the road anymore, Gray will continue to make outfits for pro wrestlers. No matter what, her contributions to the business will always be remembered and appreciated.
