CM Punk remains one of the most controversial and headline-making pro wrestlers in the business right now. Being such a divisive figure, CM Punk isn’t liked by everyone either. Now it appears that Eric Bischoff decided to go after CM Punk again.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was officially announced that CM Punk will be teaming up with FTR and squaring off against Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe in the main event of the debut episode of AEW Collision on June 17th.

That said, not everyone is happy about Punk’s return at all. Eric Bischoff also previously blasted CM Punk for being bitter and brittle and made it clear he does not think Punk is worth keeping in AEW. Regardless, other people feel differently.

While speaking on the Strictly Business podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff ripped CM Punk for not being a star and made it clear he has nothing good to say about The Second City Saint.

This was a major show, a brand new show, announced on a major network with what everybody thought was this huge star, and I’m telling you, like I’ve told you from day one, this guy is not a star.

Here’s a really funny part of this that I’m thoroughly fricking enjoying is CM Punk has set himself up for just a dramatic failure. CM Punk came in with all of this mystique, and he did a good job of creating that mystique and maintaining it, and for that, I have respect.”

Eric Bischoff also made it clear that he has no respect for CM Punk. It is highly unlikely Eric Bischoff will ever stop disliking CM Punk and that’s something fans have just accepted now.

What’s your take on what Eric Bischoff said? Do you agree with him? Sound off in the comments!
