WWE has a few people on their roster who are not currently working due to injury. Now, it appears that we are getting closer to seeing one Superstar return to the ring.

We previously reported that Maxine Dupri admitted that she got her role on WWE television due to injury. Now, we are possibly looking at the end of her hiatus from in-ring action.

After watching the latest episode of WWE Raw on June 5, it appears that an upcoming in-ring debut is on the horizon.

During a backstage segment on WWE RAW this week, the Alpha Academy and Dupri dropped hints at her in-ring return. They were clearly indicating that they are preparing Dupri for her first match in WWE. It is presumed that her debut will either be a singles match against Valhalla or a six-person tag match.

Chad Gable mentioned that Dupri needed to change her gear before he could train her. Although they were not shown again during the episode, it is likely that we will be treated to enjoyable training videos starting from the next week.

Maxine Dupri has expressed her readiness for her in-ring debut, but also stated that she is not rushing into it as she is enjoying her current role. It’s worth noting that even during her time in NXT as Sofia Cromwell, she did not have any matches to her credit.

We will have to see how things pan out in this situation. Obviously, Maxine Dupri wants to get back to action, but her role on WWE television has done quite well so far in a non-wrestling role.

What’s your take on Maxine Dupri returning to the ring? Do you want to see that happen? Sound off in the comments!
