Matt Cardona Hints At Mixed Tag Team Match After Becky Lynch Assaulted Chelsea Green On WWE RAW

 Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE. He struggled to gain significant screen time and was unable to truly break out as a star there. He was eventually released by WWE in 2020 and went on to become the Indy God in the independent circuit. Now it appears he hinted at having a mixed tag team match after what transpired with his wife on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Ringside News also exclusively reported that Matt Cardona is on WWE’s radar for a return. This all led to fans wondering if he will return to Vince McMahon’s company after over three years.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch squared off against Sonoya Deville in the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier match. Deville’s tag team partner Chelsea Green was ringside during the match and ended up interfering as well.

Becky Lynch attacked Green and sent her to the barricade repeatedly. Matt Cardona took to Twitter and reacted to Lynch assaulting his wife Chelsea Green as he hinted at a mixed tag team match.

In the end, Lynch secured her spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match by defeating Sonya Deville. We will have to wait and see whether Matt Cardona will end up returning to WWE, as this wasn’t his only tease recently.
