Kazuchika Okada is hailed as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and it is not hard to see why. The multi-time IGWP Heavyweight Champion has competed in some of the best matches in recent memory. Okada is set to face off against Bryan Danielson soon and it appears Okada claimed that he has not watched many Danielson matches in AEW and WWE.

Kazuchika Okada has been at the apex of the pro wrestling world, thanks to his awe-inspiring reigns as the IGWP Heavyweight Champion, feuding with the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kenny Omega, Tetsuya Naito and many more.

Last year, the Rainmaker was part of the main event for the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, as he challenged Jay White for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in a four-way match that also featured Adam Cole and Hangman Page. Due to injury, Bryan Danielson was not part of the match.

That is exactly why AEW and NJPW decided to book Okada vs Danielson for this year’s Forbidden Door event, now that Danielson is healthy. While speaking during recent interview, Okada was asked to single out what he respected the most about Danielson. Okada claimed that he has not seen many Danielson matches during his time in AEW and WWE.

To be honest, I haven’t really taken in Bryan’s work in AEW or WWE, so I’m not sure I can say with certainty exactly the kind of wrestler he is. But that’s why I’m looking forward to this. I know that he isn’t the tallest guy, isn’t the biggest either, but he’s been able to be a big star in those companies, and be right at the top as a champion. So that shows how good he is in the ring, and how much charisma he has to boot.

In Osaka Jo Hall, there were those ‘yes’ chants that showed how far his name has traveled. Fans who don’t watch American wrestling still know who he is, and that says a lot. I’m looking forward to facing him, and I look forward to getting the win.”

Kazuchika Okada will be squaring off against Bryan Danielson at AEW Forbidden Door on June 25th. It is sure to be a 5* classic as fans remain incredibly hyped about it. We’ll have to see who will end up winning the match.

Are you looking forward to this match? Who do you think will come out on top at Forbidden Door? Sound off in the comments!
