WWE Making Main Roster Plans For Recent NXT Call-Ups

WWE’s 2023 Draft brought a lot of names from NXT to the main roster. Now, it appears that the company is making plans for one team to make some waves.

WWE called up Pretty Deadly, Cameron Grimes, and Grayson Waller to SmackDown, which could be looked at as a legendary lineup. The RAW brand got JD McDonagh, Zoey Stark, Indi Hartwell, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn, Apollo Crews, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, Indus Sher, and Odyssey Jones. Meanwhile, Von Wagner and Xyon Quinn are free agents.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance will get their shot on RAW soon. It wasn’t noted exactly how long that wait will be.

Fightful has been told that Kayden Carter and Katana Chance should be factored in creatively soon.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance are a seasoned tag team in NXT, with a title run to their name. Only time will tell if they get another title run on the main roster, but the competition factor will certainly be amped up for them.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. This was moment that Baszler got emotional about as she retold the story.

We will have to see how this shapes up. Shawn Michaels is confident that NXT will rebound after losing so many stars. Now, it is Triple H’s job to book them on the main roster, with Vince McMahon making remote changes as he sees fit.
