CM Punk walked out of WWE almost a decade ago, and now he is with AEW. Even though WWE doesn’t really give love to Punk a lot of the time, that actually happened this week on SmackDown.

Tony Khan made the announcement on AEW Dynamite this week that CM Punk will return for the debut of Collision as a “featured” star. Now, we have to see how his second run in AEW goes.

Speculation has been swirling in recent weeks regarding CM Punk’s potential feuds upon his return to AEW television. While there have been rumors of a possible feud with either Chris Jericho or Samoa Joe, it was previously noted that there hasn’t been any recent information regarding Punk vs. Jericho. However, the idea of Punk vs. Samoa Joe is still believed to be under consideration.

In an interesting turn of events, CM Punk was featured in a video package on WWE Smackdown, commemorating Roman Reigns’ 1000 days as the world champion. This unexpected appearance added further intrigue to Punk’s wrestling future.
