Backstage Reaction To Kris Statlander’s AEW TBS Championship Win

Kris Statlander is definitely one of the veterans of the AEW women’s division as she has worked hard to gain a proper fanbase in the company. She suffered an injury last year but finally returned at AEW Double or Nothing to win the TBS Championship. Now the backstage reception to her win has been revealed.

It was announced back in August last year that Kris Statlander suffered an injury and was subsequently pulled from the AEW Women’s rankings. To make matters worse, the injury happened to be very painful one.

Kris Statlander shocked the world when she returned during AEW Double or Nothing and managed to defeat Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship. Not only did she win the title, but she ended Jade Cargill’s undefeated streak as well.

According to PWInsider, the reaction to Kris Statlander winning the TBS Championship was overwhelmingly positive backstage. It was added that she is one of the most beloved people backstage in AEW.

Those within the promotion have noticed how hard Kris Statlander has worked for her return and it is noted that Statlander has also been helping backstage while she was out of action due to her injury.

Kris Statlander already defended her TBS Championship against Nyla Rose on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We’ll have to wait and see what AEW has planned for Kris Statlander in the coming weeks.
