WWE has been making significant strides in hosting international premium live events, and the company’s plans for a major show in India later this year are taking shape.

After recently organizing Backlash in Puerto Rico and Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, WWE has its sights set on the United Kingdom for Money in the Bank, which is scheduled to take place in London, England on July 1.

WWE CEO Nick Khan has previously confirmed that the company intends to hold another major event this year, and it has been revealed that India will be the destination. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, discussions are underway for a major show in India on September 9.

This date is approximately one month after SummerSlam 2023, which is set to be held at the Ford Field arena in Detroit, Michigan on August 5.
