AEW has made remarkable improvements since its debut back in 2019, especially when it comes to expanding its brand and working with other companies. One of the notable successes of AEW was the Forbidden Door event, which proved to the world AEW can make a solid event with NJPW. Now it appears the second iteration of the event is essentially a sellout.

AEW held their Forbidden Door pay-per-view last year, and it was definitely a massive success in every way. It was a financial success and also featured several excellent matches, from the top to the bottom of the card.

The Scotiabank Centre in Toronto will host the second Forbidden Door event on June 25th and will be a great way for Tony Khan to showcase his partnership with NJPW. The pre-sale tickets sold out like hotcakes, which set the tone for the whole event.

According to Wrestle Tix, tickets for the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view continue to sell very well. Out of 12,972 tickets, the show has sold 12,862 so far, leaving 110 tickets left.
