Ronda Rousey made her return during the 2022 Royal Rumble event after a nearly three-year absence from WWE. Despite winning two championships after her return, none of her reigns were necessarily noteworthy. That said, she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on RAW this week and it appears Rousey slammed the WWE women’s division right after that.

Quite a few people have realized that Ronda Rousey does not care much about pro wrestling. She even had some harsh words for WWE Creative over her feud with Liv Morgan last year.

After a brief hiatus following WrestleMania 39, Ronda Rousey returned again and set her sights on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. She and Shayna Baszler defeated three other teams on RAW this week in order to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, much to the dismay of fans.

While speaking with the New York Post, Ronda Rousey talked about the lack of competition from the WWE women’s division. Rousey then stated that the WWE women’s division is dismally shallow.

“Well, the lack of competition is really the problem. I mean, we want to be the most active champions out there. I want to be able to defend this title every week and even twice a week on both ‘SmackDown’ and ‘Raw.’ But with how dismally shallow the women’s division is right now, there’s not enough women around here to keep us busy for a month. And so that’s the biggest challenge that we have is to get this company to actually care and invest into this tag division.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Ronda Rousey and Shaya Baszler as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in the coming weeks. After all, fans aren’t all that invested in them at the moment.
