AEW’s first console is finally coming on June 29th, and fans are very excited. They are also picking apart everything they can about the game before it launches, because AEW Fight Forever has a lot of hype behind it.

The new AEW Fight Forever video game is listed with a Teen rating. The reason for that rating is noted as use of drugs and alcohol, blood, violence, milk suggestive themes, language.

A photo of the new rating’s reason hit the internet, and plenty of fans wondered why it was listed as having drugs and alcohol in the game. Many fans made jokes about Jeff Hardy and other guesses that the story mode may include an after-party hosted by Tony Khan.

The game is also very violent, and hardcore matches will include a ton of blood. One of the game’s selling points is also the amount of weapons players have to choose from.

Pro wrestling fans are very hard on games, so we will have to wait and see how critical and fan reaction to this new game pans out. They are certainly getting a lot of attention so far, as Tony Khan’s company prepares for another landmark.

In all likelihood, one scene where Chris Jericho has a little bit of the bubbly or Hangman Page walks to the ring with a beer would garner that note in the ESRB rating. Only time will tell if there are other references to drugs or booze in the game.
