WWE has a lot of things going on, and they still need to worry about their bottom line. That could call for some releases from the roster soon enough. That being said, WWE releasing talent might not be an impossibility.

We previously reported that WWE is expected to go through another round of talent cuts. The projected date of those releases is currently July 1st, the same day as Money in the Bank in London’s O2 Arena.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Nick Khan told people around WrestleMania that WWE is not cutting any talent. Then again, that was around WrestleMania, so things could have changed since then.

Nick Khan had told some connected within the sports agenting world around WrestleMania that there weren’t planned roster cuts at the time.

WWE has a lot of things to worry about, especially with Endeavor merging the company with the UFC. It appears that some Superstars might not see much time in the company under that new TKO Holdings Group name.

We will have to see if Nick Khan’s word stands, because recent reports indicate that some roster trimming is on the way. Only time will tell who WWE decides to cut loose this time around, but it’s not expected to be a sweeping round of releases like we saw during the pandemic.
