As the highly anticipated WWE Night of Champions approaches, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have opened up about their battle with injuries leading up to their tag team match. The duo is set to face Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed tag team championships, and fans are eagerly awaiting the showdown.

During an interview on WWE’s The Bump with Cathy Kelley, Zayn and Owens discussed their mindset heading into the match while dealing with their respective injuries. Owens mentioned that his wrist has been bothering him due to his involvement in boxing.

“I’ve been dealing with some weird things that are hurting me too. My forearm, vocal chords, you know, a lot of little nagging injuries,” shared Sami Zayn.

However, Zayn made it clear that he and Owens are no strangers to working through injuries and are determined to give their best performance at Night of Champions 2023.

“Throughout our careers, we have faced our fair share of beatings, but we’ve always found ways to push through. So, I don’t think these injuries will hinder us or affect our mindset heading into Night of Champions,” Zayn reassured.

Despite their physical setbacks, Zayn and Owens expressed confidence in their ability to deliver an exciting match for the fans. They emphasized their resilience and determination to overcome any obstacles and give a memorable performance on the grand stage.
