AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and his peers alike. Despite his age, The Phenomenal One often puts on a spectacle inside the squared circle. He missed out on WrestleMania 39 due to injury and now it appears that Styles had no idea what his WrestleMania 39 plans were before getting injured.

AJ Styles suffered genuine ankle injury while performing at a WWE live event in Hershey, Pennsylvania. AJ Styles himself would confirm the injury, which put him on the shelf for a few months.

The Phenomenal One finally returned last month after missing out on many months of action. With him, he brought back Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Mia Yim to reform the OC.

While speaking with Sportsmail, AJ Styles talked about his plans for WrestleMania 39 before his injury. The Phenomenal One revealed that he had no idea about his plans for the Show of Shows before getting injured anyway.

No clue. I had no clue where I was going – I wish I could give you more information on that. I’m one of those guys where it’s not my job to ask you where I’m going next, I’m not really that concerned. My job is to do it, you know, get in the ring and perform. I’m not going to beg for certain things, of course we want things to go our way in storylines, but it’s not my job to write the stories – listen I didn’t write the one I’m in!

We will have to wait and see whether AJ Styles will be able to defeat Seth Rollins at Night Of Champions on May 27th and become the first-ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After all, Styles is even prepared to defend the title against Roman Reigns to prove it’s not a secondary title.

What’s your view on what AJ Styles said? Do you want him to be the champion one more time? Let us know in the comments!
