Imperium has been an imposing force ever since they debuted on the main roster last year. With Intercontinental Champion Gunther as their leader, the faction continues to be a force to be reckoned with. They were also a major part of RAW this week alongside Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, even after the show went off the air.

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW was the go-home edition of the show before Night Of Champions. It featured Brock Lesnar dismantling Cody Rhodes before their match at Night Of Champions, among other things.

The main event saw Imperium squaring off against Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle. Kevin Owens picked up the win after hitting a Swanton Bomb on Giovanni Vinci, making fans happy.

After the show went off the air, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle stayed in the ring and were attacked by Imperium. They even ended up setting up some tables to use on Owens and the rest.

Thankfully, the babyface team managed to thwart Imperium’s offence and Owens ended up putting Ludwig Kaiser through the table. We will have to wait and see whether Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will be able to retain their titles against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at WWE Night Of Champions on May 27th.
