John Cena was the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016 and has now adopted the role of a part-timer. Cena has done a lot for the business during his time at the top, becoming a name bigger than the company itself. Cena’s love for the Make-A-Wish foundation knows no bounts and he even had an entrance with the children there at WrestleMania 39. Now it appears Cena revealed who was responsible for the entrance.

John Cena kicked off WrestleMania Saturday back in April as he challenged Austin Theory for the United States Championship. It was a serviceable match for many, which saw Theory defeat Cena after a low blow and his finisher.

Prior to the match, John Cena had an epic entrance as he was accompanied by many Make-A-Wish children. He gave each of them a high five and clearly made their day with the gesture.

While speaking on The Today Show, John Cena talked about the epic WrestleMania 39 entrance. The Leader Of Cenation revealed that having the Make-A-Wish children be a part of his entrance was entirely WWE’s idea.

“The hope of fulfilling gratitude. Any good, warm thing that makes you feel great. This year, at WrestleMania, we got to give 15 or 20 Make-A-Wish kids a WrestleMania entrance in front of 80,000 people. Normally, the entrance is something you do by yourself, but WWE had the idea to give the Make-A-Wish kids the moment and the perspective that very few get to see. I was all on board, and it was great.”

John Cena is currently busy with his life in Hollywood, as he will be starting in ‘Fast X’ as well as Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated film ‘Barbie,’ where he will be portraying the role of mermaid. It remains to be seen when John Cena will return to WWE television once again.
