John Laurinaitis was the former Head of Talent Relations of WWE and made headlines for all the wrong reasons after he was allegedly involved in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal. It all came crashing down right after that in a huge way. While he is no longer associated with WWE, it appears that Laurinaitis has been accused of threatening to have an ex-WWE Superstar arrested.

Former WWE Superstar Marty Garner was known as Cham-Pain back in the day, who worked for WWE between 1994 and 1998. In the mid-2000s, he created an online blog and submitted it to wrestling newsletters.

The blog got a lot of traction and gained 100,000 visitors, which got the attention of Johnny Ace – who was a WWE talent relations executive back then. That said, things didn’t go the way he wanted.

While speaking on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, Marty Garner recalled a conversation he had with Laurinaitis after fans started a “Hire Cham-Pain” campaign on the internet. Johnny Ace got around 300 to 500 emails every day, which prompted him to threaten to arrest Garner.

“He [John Laurinaitis] said, ‘Well, I don’t wanna ever see you again. If you come to a show, I’ll have you arrested.’ I said, ‘Johnny, I’m just trying to get an F-ing job.’ That was back when I used to curse all the time – I don’t curse anymore. He goes, ‘Now you’re cursing at a senior official of WWE.’ I said, ‘Johnny, I’m not cursing at you. I’m cursing about the situation.'”

Johnny Ace was placed on indefinite administrative leave, and his future was all but certain after that. As previously reported, John Laurinaitis was fired by WWE earlier last year. Regardless, Johnny Ace will never be liked by many people and that’s unlikely to ever change.
