WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley is a legend in the world of professional wrestling. Together with his long-time partner Bubba Ray Dudley, they won several tag team titles in various promotions during their career. His sons Terrence And Terrell Hughes are wrestlers now. That said, it appears that Dudley wants his sons to remain in AEW and not go to WWE right now.

Terrence And Terrell Hughes, TNT, are D-Von Dudley’s sons and have been competing in the pro wrestling business for some time now. They made appearances in AEW since their debut in 2020, among other promotions.

WWE has been through a lot of changes in the past several months. After returning to WWE, Vince McMahon ended up selling the company to Endeavour. Even if Triple H remains in charge of WWE Creative, many believe Vince McMahon is the one in control.

While speaking on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, D-Von Dudley talked about his sons making their way to WWE. Dudley stated that he wants them to stay in AEW as they might just get lost in the shuffle in WWE.

“They’re doing their thing, they’re doing their thing, they’re still doing Dark in AEW. They’re having a good time. I’d rather them be with AEW right now than probably go to NXT or WWE. In my opinion, there’s so much going on over there right now that I just feel like they might get lost in the shuffle somewhere.

You know, there’s so much disarray, because no one knows what’s going on. Is Vince back? Is he not back? Is Triple H in control? Is he not in control? I don’t think anybody knows, except for the people that are working within the company.”

That being said, D-Von Dudley’s sons haven’t lost communication with WWE. Terrence And Terrell Hughes are slowly making a name for themselves in the pro wrestling world, but a WWE venture might just not be in their future yet.

What’s your view on what D-Von Dudley said? Do you think his sons will find success in WWE? Let us know in the comments!
