WWE has a few things that they need to take care of before Night of Champions rolls around. Now, we have a new match added to the show.

Asuka made her return to WWE television on last week’s episode, her first appearance since WrestleMania 39. During the show, she assaulted Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, setting the stage for a championship rematch at Night of Champions next weekend.

Now, WWE has confirmed that Asuka will be back in the ring for tonight’s SmackDown episode, going head-to-head with LWO’s Zelina Vega.

Also on tonight’s agenda is the SmackDown introduction of Pretty Deadly who will confront Ridge Holland and Butch from the Brawling Brutes. AJ Styles will be featured on the Grayson Waller Effect, while Rick Boogs and LA Knight are slated to take on the Street Profits. Furthermore, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will come face-to-face with the Bloodline’s Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

We will have to see how it all pans out when the show goes live this week. If anything, we will have a loaded show for the blue brand.

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this, and every other story in the pro wrestling world.
