Saraya is hailed as trailblazer for women’s pro wrestling, as she accomplished a lot in WWE during her time there. Her life has been full of numerous ups and downs since she started her pro wrestling journey at a very young age. Now it appears she wants a very non-PG sequel to her hit biopic ‘Fighting with My Family.’

For those who don’t remember, 2019’s ‘Fighting with My Family’ centered around Saraya’s journey in WWE, focusing on her time in WWE NXT. It culminated with her remarkable triumph in winning the Divas Championship on an episode of Raw following WrestleMania 30.

The production of ‘Fighting with My Family’ involved WWE Studios and Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions, with Johnson himself appearing as his renowned persona, alongside a talented cast including Stephen Merchant, Nick Frost, and Vince Vaughn.

Saraya’s life after her Divas Championship run is worthy of a sequel as well. While speaking on The Corner Podcast, Saraya talked about the likelihood of a sequel to the film. Saraya made it clear that she wants the sequel to be dark and non-PG, as her life was exactly like that at the time.

“We need another one (Fighting with My Family). It needs to not be just PG. It needs to go up a level because the stuff that we went through, you know, yeah. It gets weird. It gets very weird. So I feel like it cannot be PG. It needs to be up a level. If it had to be about me, I would definitely want it to be the darker version, the part two of what happened after I won the Divas Championship and then the rock bottom and all that kind of stuff.”

A sequel for the film might be a difficult affair simply because Saraya is no longer with WWE. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Saraya will end up getting another sequel somewhere down the line, as fans would love to see the movie.
