Bryan Danielson is incredibly useful for AEW. Not only is he a veteran on the roster, but he is also helping out with training younger stars, like Jade Cargill. Now, he is helping out with the Collision show in a big way.

Collision will debut on June 17th, as AEW introduces a brand-new television show to the situation. They will also need some extra help backstage.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Bryan Danielson is also helping out with the creative aspect for the Collision brand. This is similar to what he did in WWE, as Danielson was on the SmackDown creative team for a while during his last run with the company.

Bryan Danielson will be contributing in creative for the Collision brand, according to sources familiar with the situation. Danielson had previously helped out in this capacity during his WWE run as well, especially when he was sidelined. Those that we spoke to that worked with him had great things to say about his demeanor in WWE when helping.

It was also noted that, “Tony Khan, Pat Buck, Will Washington, Sonjay Dutt and QT Marshall comprise the team that largely are set to put together the shows, with Marshall and Dutt contributing heavily. Jerry Lynn, Dean Malenko Christopher Daniels are all often providing creative input. As outlined in the Observer last week, Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, FTR, CM Punk all have heavy input into their own programs.”

We will have to see how the whole situation pans out when the show goes live on June 17th. It is expected that the debut episode will be in Chicago, but Tony Khan didn’t reveal that this week on Dynamite.

Tony Khan also didn’t reveal CM Punk’s involvement, something that is still up in the air at this point. Hopefully, AEW and Punk come to some sort of resolution for this situation.

What’s your take on this situation with Bryan Danielson in AEW? Do you think that was a good move on AEW’s part to put him in creative? Sound off in the comments!
