Bronson Reed had a bright future ahead of him in NXT, where he became the NXT North American Champion. His good fortunes did not last long as Reed was fired back in August 2021 as part of WWE’s slew of cuts at the time. While he is back now, Reed has no intention of beating Roman Reigns for his titles.

Bronson Reed finally made his return in December last year, where he assisted The Miz in defeating Dexter Lumis. He eventually broke away from The Miz and is now doing his own thing.

Bronson Reed was also part of a triple threat to determine who would go to the finals of the World Heavyweight Title tournament at WWE Night Of Champions in Saudi Arabia. However, he was not able to make it to the finals, as the honor went to AJ Styles.

While speaking on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Bronson Reed was asked if he would rather be the first RAW World Heavyweight Champion or dethrone Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title. Reed made it clear he would rather become the first World Heavyweight Champion instead.

“I would say be the first just because, once you’ve done that, there’s no one else that can ever say they could do that. Obviously, once Roman Reigns is dethroned, if he’s ever dethroned, you’re gonna be the one and only to do that as well. But with this new championship, you can build a whole new legacy and etch out how you see a champion being fit and how they should be a world champion.”

Bronson Reed also explained why he rejected an NJPW offer to return to WWE. We will have to wait and see whether Bronson Reed will end up winning any major title on the main roster somewhere down the line.
