WWE couldn’t keep the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on Becky Lynch and Lita for long. After all, Lita wasn’t back for a long stretch, and they needed to kick start things with Lynch and Trish Status. Becky Lynch already admitted that their title run was not the original plan.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE was just biding their time with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles until Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler returned. This meant that Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green were just placeholders.

The whole thing of this feud was to just bide time until Ronda Rousey came back. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville weren’t the ones who were going to feud with them, that’s Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.

We will have to see how things pan out in this situation. Liv Morgan is suffering from an injury, but we don’t know the severity. That being said, it is thought that Morgan’s injury isn’t too bad.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were drafted as a team during the 2023 WWE Draft. Odds are, they will stick together for a while at this point. It also appears that they are going right for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles once again.
