After parting ways with WWE back in March, Sareee, formerly known as Sarray, has made her long-awaited return to in-ring action. The former NXT star announced her comeback with a special event titled “Sareee-ism,” which took place on May 16 in Japan.

In the main event of the show, Sareee faced off against Chihiro Hashimoto in a hard-fought battle that lasted 20 minutes. While Sareee put up a valiant effort, she ultimately fell short, experiencing defeat in her first match since August 2022. Her last WWE match was against Mandy Rose on the August 2 episode of NXT.

Sareee’s decision to leave WWE came after the expiration of her contract with the company. Following her departure, she expressed interest in returning to the Japanese wrestling scene, where she had gained prominence prior to her time in WWE.

As Sareee continues her wrestling journey outside of WWE, it will be interesting to see how she thrives in the Japanese wrestling landscape next.
