Sami Zayn Says He Needs To Wrestle Kota Ibushi One More Time Before Retiring

Sami Zayn has been part of the WWE family for almost a decade now and has consistently improved himself at every turn. This was especially the case with his storyline featuring The Bloodline. He has his roots in the indie scene, where Zayn faced the likes of Kota Ibushi. Now it appears Zayn made it clear he wants to face Ibushi one more time before retiring.

Sami Zayn made a name for himself as El Generico in Ring Of Honor, PWG and various other pro wrestling promotions before making his way to WWE. Fans who have followed his career know very well how integral Kota Ibushi has been to his career.

Sami Zayn and Kota Ibushi have squared off against each other in CHIKARA, and other promotions. As such, Sami Zayn took to Twitter and commented on a video featuring Ibushi, where Zayn made it clear that he needs to face Ibushi one more time before he retires.

This man is a lunatic and a gift to pro wrestling, and I need to wrestle him once more before my career is done.

Kota Ibushi remains a free agent after parting ways with NJPW earlier this year. We will have to wait and see whether Zayn and Ibushi will cross paths once again, as nothing is impossible in the world of professional wrestling.
