Popular independent wrestler Megabyte Ronnie announced his retirement from professional wrestling via Twitter earlier today. Ronnie revealed that he is being forced to retire due to a deformity in his back, which has led to this difficult decision.

Expressing his gratitude in the statement, Ronnie acknowledged the opportunity to live out his dream and participate in many memorable experiences within the wrestling industry during his relatively short career.

The announcement signifies the end of a journey that began in 2018 and saw Ronnie compete in various independent promotions, including Black Label Pro, BEYOND Wrestling, and Nickel City Wrestling.

Throughout his career, Ronnie made a notable appearance on AEW Dark in September 2020, where he faced off against Brian Cage. His time in the spotlight also extended beyond the wrestling ring, as he garnered attention by joining Cody Rhodes on a special episode of Hot Ones in 2020.
