WWE Superstar Ma.çé recently revealed that he was initially set to return with a completely different character before receiving a surprising call from the company.

While speaking to Metro, Ma.çé mentioned that he was almost a cyberpunk mercenary, a bounty hunter, or an executioner, complete with an axe and hood. There was even concept art for the character.

However, WWE asked him to scrap everything he had previously discussed because they wanted him to be a male model instead.

“They gave me a call and they were like, ‘All that stuff? Nah! What we’re gonna do is you’re going to be a male model now.’ I said, ‘Great!’ They said, ‘You’re going to do it with Mån.sôör.’ I was like, ‘Even better! Rock and roll!'”

Ma.çé and Mån.sôör may have been absent from WWE television as of late, but they have not been forgotten about backstage. According to reports, the company still has plans for the duo, and they are being kept on the radar.
