Roman Reigns Receives Massive Support for WWE’s First World Heavyweight Champion

Triple H had a huge announcement for fans last month on RAW as he revealed new World Heavyweight Championship title. This was seen as a big deal for many, but others felt it was completely unnecessary. With a tournament set to be underway to crown the new champion, it appears that some want Roman Reigns to be the first champion.

The new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at WWE Night Of Champions on May 27th. A tournament will be held for the title and the participants for the tournament have also been announced.

Roman Reigns is currently the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has been on a hiatus from WWE television since WrestleMania 39. That said, a lot of fans feel his limited schedule has devalued the titles.

While many people want someone like Seth Rollins to become the first World Heavyweight Champion, others feel differently. WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray replied to a tweet by WWE’s official Twitter handle, where they asked fans who should hold the new title first. Bully Ray simply stated that it should be Roman Reigns.

The only correct answer is Roman Reigns ☝🏽

With the tournament set to start soon, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will come out on top and win the entire thing. That said, it is very likely many fans will disagree with what Bully Ray said.
