Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that a few talents were late getting to Backlash. That being said, Puerto Rico, and the fans there, were incredible.

Several of the WWE talent told us they were late to the show, but put over the atmosphere, the environment, the crowd, and the overall experience.

It wasn’t noted which talent was late, or why they were held up. There was also no note of someone missing the show, so it seems that everyone who was supposed to be there made it to the event.

WWE might not go back to Puerto Rico for a long time, because the island’s tourism board paid them seven-figures for this event. Only time will tell if it will be another twenty-year wait to see WWE back in San Juan.

What’s your take on WWE going back to Puerto Rico? Do they need to make it a yearly trip? Sound off in the comments!
