Impact Wrestling has announced that Jennifer Chung will be joining the company as the new ring announcer for their weekly show Before The Impact. The announcement was made on May 2, and Chung will also be hosting pre-shows at various Impact live events.

Chung, who is the wife of former Impact World Champion Josh Alexander, has been involved in the wrestling business since 2003, where she started as a valet and wrestler for different promotions. Although she has not been a regular wrestler in recent years, she last competed for Alpha-1 Wrestling in 2019.

The addition of Chung to the Impact Wrestling broadcast team comes as the company continues to expand its roster of on-air talent. She will be joining other announcers like David Penzer, George Iceman, Gia Miller, Matthew Rehwoldt, and Tom Hannifan.

Chung took to Twitter to express her excitement about the new opportunity. She shared an Instagram post on May 2, where she wrote in the caption, “I’m so grateful for this new adventure and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. A huge thank you to everyone at Impact Wrestling for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing team!”
