WWE is always keeping their eye on the pro wrestling landscape to see if there are any talented people that they can bring in. They are open for business if the talent is there, and that calls for some exhibitions on the indies.

Ringside News was told that Gabe Sapolsky was at AML this weekend scouting talent. It was not noted who caught his eye, but he was there for WWE.

It was said that WWE is on a hiring freeze, but Ringside News was squashed that narrative. In fact, the company is talking to about half dozen people about signing deals.

There is no hiring freeze in WWE. There is a lot going on with the company merging with the UFC under Endeavor. That doesn’t mean the company stopped looking for good fits to bring in.

We will have to see who ends up in WWE in the future. They have a lot of different places where great talent can be utilized, with even more space opening up on NXT as the company called up several notable names during the 2023 WWE Draft.
