WWE is holding another Draft, and now we know how it will go down on SmackDown. There are only a certain number of Superstars eligible for the draft pool tonight, but each brand only has so many picks as well.

In an online update, Megan Morant revealed that tonight’s parameters of the WWE Draft. Each brand will get 8 picks on SmackDown, with the remaining members of the eligible draft pool going up for grabs on the SmackDown LowDown.

Tonight 16 total draft picks will be announced, 8 from each main roster brand. Then additional picks will be announced tomorrow morning on the SmackDown Low-Down on Peacock.


Draft season is always interesting, because it always opens up the door for free agents. It could be interesting if a few people go unpicked when the dust settles.

Some big named from NXT are also in Texas for the 2023 WWE Draft. It will be interesting to see if their names will be called on Peacock, because that would give their call-ups a lot less fanfare.

We will have to see whose name is called in the 2023 WWE Draft. Now we know that they will announce names after the show this week, during the company’s streaming Peacock after show.
