AEW Signing Deal With Hot Free Agent

AEW has their eyes on the entire pro wrestling landscape, and they must pick those people who can really benefit their roster. It seems that they have landed on a decision with Ashley D’Amboise, because Tony Khan’s company has locked her into a deal.

Many pro wrestling fans were wondering what Ashley D’Amboise would do next. She’s been around the indies for a while, impressing wherever she goes. Now, it seems that AEW wants to make even more use of her.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW has landed Ashley D’Amboise to a deal. She was previously seen as a hot free agent before this.

In February, Fightful reported that AEW was looking to sign Ashley D’Amboise, an emerging name that already had several television appearances. At the time, Fightful was told that a contract was offered, and AEW sources believed D’Amboise would be signing. Those same sources told us that she’s under a deal now, but didn’t specify if it was full-time or a tiered deal.

It was also noted in the report that, “since mid-march, D’Amboise has competed exclusively for Ring of Honor and AEW, inicluding matches against Athena, Maki Iyoh, Mei Suruga and Emi Sakura.” We’ll have to see what’s next for Ashley D’Amboise.

AEW has a loaded roster already, but they have big plans in the pipeline. Along with Dark, they also have Dynamite and Rampage, with a rumored Saturday show, Collision, in the works. Obviously, they need good people.
