Schedules are very important in pro wrestling, especially for very busy people. Malakai Black was recently faced with a nightmare travel situation, and he decided to go home instead.

According to a report from Fightful’s paywall, Malakai Black was supposed to work for Swoggle’s company, ACW, in Wisconsin. He was also supposed to attend the Water City Wrestling Con. Neither of those things happened.

The report stated that Swoggle told the crowd that Malakai Black did not want to take a later flight. His initial flight was delayed, but it sounds like he refused a re-booking that might have still gotten him to the show.

Malakai Black had a travel issue that contributed to not making the Water City Wrestling Con and ACW show in Wisconsin. Swoggle, who runs the company, told the crowd Black wouldn’t take a later flight after his initial one was delayed

Hopefully, Malakai Black will be able to make it back for Swoggle’s company at a later date. Travel mishaps are never the plan, and it seems like Black had quite an irritating experience.

AEW is limiting their talent’s indie dates, so we’ll have to see how much longer AEW talent will be able to work indie events at all.

What’s your take on this situation with AEW and their talent’s indie dates? Do you think that Malakai Black needs to take indie event dates? Sound off in the comments!
